Shibori mul cotton saree using the technique of tye and dye, a Japanese style similar to the more traditional technique of Bandhani. Introduced to India, supposedly by Nobel Laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, in the early 20th century and now practiced in craft clusters in Delhi, Gujarat and Rajasthan the word shibori has often been associated with the famous style of fabric dying particular to Japan, but in fact it encompasses a wide gamut of fabric manipulation and dying found worldwide. Shibori has come from the verb shiboru meaning "to wring, squeeze and press" in Japanese. Easy to wear and maintain, this lightweight saree is your perfect casual wear from Office to Shopping Malls.
